National Treasure features action, mystery, and puzzles in a race against time. The movie follows an expedition with challenges through the search for clues. The poster amplifies these qualities by guiding viewers through a puzzle to discover the title. Type is activated as image in order to work together to unify the overall message. This process allowed me to find a balance in my poster working with creating an indirect path that viewers could uncover on their own. Together with the map, the viewer can view movement on the page guiding viewers from “location” to “location”.
